Prologue of Re-opening 'China Service Network for the Disabled'
On 18 Sep, 2000 our network was prohibited for the right to uphold itself. The access of www.2000888.com to the server was stopped on 26 Sep, 2000, then this 'web with the highest clicking rate in global welfare websites' disappeared.
During this hard time (26 Sep to 10 Dec, 2000), our web began to have a certain scale from 'without nothing'. It's the encourage, support and love from the disabled friends, kind people and some government leaders, which helped us cover all those troubles. Hereby, we would like to present our sincere appreciation again.
One network for the disabled www.2000888.com was delivered. It tells people that those weak power group in the society can manage internet well. Millions of disabled persons can deal with what the common people do. They also help each other, realize life expectations and devote to the public through internet. There is no disabled in the net world!
In the new era, hi-tech makes day/month/year into second/minute/hour and digital information brings our global to a small village. In the great changes, the weak-power group must help by themselves. 'To shorten info distance and cover data gap' is a crucial goal and action that we 'digital disabled people' should take. In this commercial society and in the winter of internet, it would be full of hardness to such a non-governmental welfare web. However, to the disabled who go through all pains, what is a little endurance! For the fair attendance to the world future, we are willing to sacrifice today. 'How long the road would be, how hard we will go on'!
